I’m Dr. Tracy Dalgleish, a clinical psychologist and couples therapist, and I help partners move out of disconnection and back into intimacy that feels safe, meaningful, and free from pressure. Much of my work is about gently challenging the narrow, performance-based ideas about sex that so many couples carry, and instead helping them focus on emotional closeness, nervous system safety, and the everyday contexts that make desire possible again.

With nearly two decades of experience, I offer practical, compassionate guidance to help couples talk about sex in ways that feel less charged, understand their own unique “on” and “off” switches, and rebuild intimacy in ways that are realistic—especially in the busy, exhausting seasons of parenting and long-term partnership. I blend clinical expertise with simple, actionable exercises so couples don’t have to keep waiting for things to change, but can begin creating closeness on purpose, one small step at a time.
