Your Couples Coaching Starts Soon

You're all set.

Thank you — I'm glad you're here. There are two things to know before we meet.

1. Your background questionnaires — one for each of you

This is the most important thing you'll do before we meet, and I'd ask you both to treat it that way.

There are two questionnaires, one for each of you, and it matters that you complete them separately. Not side by side, not talking it through as you go, and not reading each other's answers afterward. I'm not looking for the account you'd agree on if you sat down and worked it out together. I'm looking for how this actually lands for each of you — and the places where your two versions diverge are usually where the most useful work is waiting.

I use what you write to prepare. It's how I arrive at our first conversation already understanding the shape of things: your history together, the patterns you've each noticed, what keeps happening between you, what you've tried and where it fell apart. Without that, a meaningful portion of our time gets spent on background. With it, we can begin where it actually matters.

The people who get the most out of this spend 20 to 30 minutes on it. Some spend longer. That isn't a hurdle I'm putting in front of you — it's the beginning of the work. Putting language to something you've only felt tends to surface things you hadn't quite named yet, and doing that on your own, before you're in the room together, is part of why it's useful.

Send the questionnaire to your partner

Both need to be completed before we meet. Send your partner their link now, while you're thinking of it — it's the easiest step to lose track of.

2. Booking your session

My team will email you within 24 hours to schedule. I hold a number of appointments open specifically so people can be seen in the near term, and we'll find a time that works for both of us.
